Middle School

February is always a busy month.  A great way to stay informed about what is happening in the Middle School is by reading “The ROAR”, our Middle School parent newsletter.  The updated copy is always available on the Middle School homepage.  If it is more convenient, we can email you a copy every time it’s published.  

As the year progresses, we will do our best to make sure that you have all of the important information you need to support your student.  You will receive grade reports from the main office every five weeks through “backpack mail”.  The next grade reporting checkpoint is at 25 weeks.  This year that falls on Friday, March 2, and you should receive the report by the end of the following week.  Aside from notes from the teacher or team, the next grade report will be the third quarter report card.  Grade books close on Friday, April 5, and reports are sent home the next week.  Anytime we send important papers home with your student from the office, a School Messenger message is sent out.  This would come to you as an email or phone call based on the information we have here in the office.  If you feel that these messages aren’t getting to you, please contact the main office so we can update your information.  Additionally, teachers or teams may send home updates more frequently.  If you ever have questions about your student’s progress, please feel free to contact the Middle School.
