Fine & Performing Arts
In the Marcus Whitman Central School District, we believe that participation in the Fine & Performing Arts offers our students an outlet for self-expression that can ignite a lifelong passion for creative endeavors. Art, Music, and Theatre education fosters creativity and helps students to develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills as well as teach self-discipline and the value of perseverance. Through the arts, our students develop the 21st-century skills that will prepare them for success in any career path they choose to pursue. Perhaps most importantly, studying the arts helps students to make connections between themselves, their innermost feelings, and the world around them.
