Summer 2023 Program Flyer
Dear Families-
It is hard to believe, but Summer is right around the corner, which means that Marcus Whitman will again be holding its Summer Programming. This year, summer programming will be a 4 week program and will occur on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 9am-2pm, beginning on Tuesday, July 11th and concluding on Thursday, August 3rd..
This program is geared toward students who are currently in Grades UPK-Grade 8.
For our students in grades UPK-5, the morning will be dedicated to academics, focusing on skill reinforcement in English Language Arts (ELA), reading, and math, while the afternoon will have your student rotate through different recreational activities, including swimming.
For our Middle School students (grades 6-8,) an academic component is available for those students who also need reinforcement in English Language Arts (ELA,) reading, and math skills, plus, your student will have the choice of registering from a selection of over a dozen enrichment classes stemming from science, art, physical education, history, and cooking.
A separate communication will be sent home for those students who have been recommended to attend our Extended School Year program (ESY). This invitation would be determined while attending your child’s CSE meetings for the end of the school year.
Transportation, breakfast, and lunch will be provided daily, free of charge.
Please use the links below to register your child(ren). Please fill out a separate registration form for each child who will be attending. Please note: The Deadline to register for our summer programming will be FRIDAY, JUNE 9th.
