We are pleased to announce the Board has hired University of Rochester, with the Lead Consultant being Mike Ford to assist with our Superintendent search. As we go through the process, we will keep you informed. We are confident that we will find a candidate to continue moving the District forward.
The Board of Education has begun the process of searching for a new superintendent to replace Mr. Clingerman, who will be leaving us on June 30. We are grateful to him for his six years of service to our district and wish him well at Seneca Falls. The Board has contracted with the University of Rochester to assist us with the search, and Mike Ford, former superintendent at Midlakes, and Matt Frahm, current superintendent at Naples, are representing the University on our search.
We invite our school community to assist us in this process by helping us know the traits and attributes you think are important in our next superintendent. To provide this input, please complete a short survey by clicking on this link:
The tentative timeline for our search is as follows:
March 12 Board selects candidates to interview
March 18, 19, 21 Initial Board interviews
April 1, 2, 4 Candidate in District/Committee Interviews/Board Interviews
April 11 Special Meeting to appoint new superintendent
We will also be looking for parents and community members to serve on our interview committees. If you are interested, please send an email to Sharene Benedict, our board clerk, at firstname.lastname@example.org
Should more volunteers come forward than we need, we will pull names from a hat to determine participation.
Thank you for your assistance in this very important endeavor.
