A Message From the Principal

Dear Middlesex Valley Families,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! As we begin another exciting year at Middlesex Valley, I’d like to take this opportunity to share a bit about myself, our goals for the year, and the ways we can stay connected.

This is my fourth year as Principal at Middlesex Valley, and I’m honored to continue this journey with our incredible community. Each year has brought new opportunities to grow together, and I’m grateful for the connections I’ve made with our dedicated staff, amazing students, and supportive families. I look forward to deepening those relationships and continuing to work as a team to ensure every student experiences success, joy, and a sense of belonging at school.

A little about me: I was a classroom teacher for 10 years and an instructional coach for 3 years. Before joining the Marcus Whitman community, I served as an administrator in another district for 9 years. My husband Todd and I live with our two teenage daughters and our goldendoodle, Harlee, in a neighboring district. I love my job and the people I serve—please feel free to stop and say hello if you see me around!

At Middlesex Valley, we believe in nurturing the whole child. That means supporting not only academic growth but also your child’s social, emotional, and physical development. We work hard to create a safe and welcoming environment where every student is seen, heard, and inspired to grow. I’m also excited to continue partnering with Mr. Kevin Cousin, our shared assistant principal with Gorham, who brings a wealth of experience and dedication to our school community.

We’re happy to share that our capital project continues to move forward. One of the most exciting updates is that we anticipate having air conditioning fully operational this fall! We appreciate your continued patience and support as the remaining work progresses—these improvements are a big step forward for the comfort and success of our students and staff.

On behalf of the entire Middlesex Valley team, I’d like to extend a warm welcome to all our new and returning students and families. We are so glad you are here!

We know that strong family-school partnerships are essential to student success. Your involvement, encouragement, and presence mean so much. Whether it’s attending an event, volunteering, or simply reaching out with questions, your engagement strengthens our school community.

As we begin this school year, please help your child start each day strong by arriving on time—no later than 8:55 AM—ready to learn and grow. Together, we’ll make 2025–2026 a year full of growth, achievement, and connection.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. I look forward to working with you and supporting your child this school year!

Best,
