A Message From the Principal
Dear Middlesex Valley Families,
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! As we begin another exciting year at Middlesex Valley, I would like to take this opportunity to share a little bit more about myself, our goals for the year, and ways we can connect.
This is my third year as Principal at Middlesex Valley, and I am thrilled to continue the journey with our incredible community. Last year provided a wonderful opportunity for me to engage more within our school, district, and most importantly, to connect with our dedicated staff, enthusiastic students, and supportive families. I look forward to deepening these relationships and working together to ensure every student finds success and joy in their learning experience.
I want to share a little bit about myself. I was a teacher for 10 years and an instructional coach for 3 years. I was an administrator for 9 years in a different district before joining the Marcus Whitman community. My husband Todd and I live with our two teenage daughters and our goldendoodle Harlee in the Midlakes district. I love my job and hope if you see me around you will stop and say hello!
At Middlesex Valley, we believe in nurturing the whole child. This means that, in addition to academic achievement, we are equally committed to supporting your child's social, emotional, and physical well-being. We aim to create an environment where every student feels safe, valued, and inspired to grow. I am also excited to partner with Mr. Kevin Cousin, our shared assistant principal with Gorham. He brings a wealth of experience and is a great partner in leadership..
On behalf of our entire staff, I would like to extend a warm welcome to both our new and returning students. We are glad you are here!
We are excited to partner with you to ensure that your child reaches their highest potential. We understand that a strong collaboration between home and school is essential for student success. Your involvement and support are invaluable as we work together to support not only your child's academic growth but also their social and emotional development. We encourage you to join us for school activities and events whenever possible, as your presence enriches our school community.
As we embark on this new school year, please make sure your child arrives on time no later than 9am, ready to embrace each day's learning experiences. Together, we can make this year a remarkable one filled with growth, achievement, and joy.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. I look forward to working with you and your child throughout the school year!
