UPK and Kindergarten Information
Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program (UPK):
Marcus Whitman offers FULL DAY Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program (UPK) for all eligible students a child must turn 4 years of age on or before December 1 of the year in which he/she seeks to enroll. The program is taught by a certified teacher with one teacher aide per classroom and follows the regular District calendar.
The program is currently offered in a full day format, at Middlesex Valley Elementary School. Transportation is provided by the district. Skills emphasized in the UPK program include development in early literacy, math readiness, fine/large motor skills, social/emotional development, and other age appropriate appropriate skills.
To begin the process, please complete Initial Contact Form HERE This form will inform the district of your interest in the UPK program for your child. However, this will not officially register your child.
To officially register, all children must have a Registration Packet completed and turned in to the district with all required documentation.
